How One Minute Can Change Your Business!

I went to a Leads group meeting this morning and found out something very interesting. Although most people go to Leads meetings, many have never been taught how to optimize their introduction. I have been playing around with my "elevator speech", and realized that I have been coasting on my past, even though more than 1/2 of the attendees at the meeting were relatively new. It made me determined to rethink my message. You may ask, "Why is it important?" I can tell you in one word.

INTEREST!

You want to communicate something that will make your audience interested in finding out more about you and your company. When you approach the one minute intro properly, not only can you generate interest that will grow your business, but it can also have the effect of

COMPOUNDING!

By generating a solid connection, you may spur referrals. To use the old shampoo commercial, if you receive two referrals and they eachgive you two referrals, and they each give you two referrals and so on and so on, you will generate as much business as you can handle. This is the compounding of interest!

Here is my one minute:

My name is Steve Leichner and I'm a Consultant with ITMCI Business Solutions.

ITMCI Business Solutions is the one stop shop for your business services needs.

I recently met with a client who had a problem expanding her business. She had a great idea but no business plan. I sat with her and helped her put her plan down on paper. We took it to some potential investors and she is now on her way.

A good referral for me is a small to medium size business looking to move to the next level and doesn’t know how. At ITMCI Business Solutions, we work with new and established businesses providing strategic planning and the back office services to support growth.
