Well, another birthday is here. This past year has been amazing! People tell me I am the eternal optimist. The world as we know it is changing almost daily. This is the middle of my 6th decade. Every year, when I look back, I see that things are always changing. “The only unchangeable thing is change itself.”
My personal life has changed. I became a grandpa. My business is constantly changing and adapting to the needs of the market.
When your birthday comes up for renewal, what will you reflect on? Will you worry about who is doing what to you, or will you take charge of your own life and responsibility for your own actions?
Let’s learn from one another. A wise man once said “learn from experience.” He left out the second part “especially someone else’s.”
Don’t reinvent the wheel. These are just some of the words of wisdom we’ve heard all of our lives. Now it’s time to hear them again and listen to their meaning. When times get tough, the tough get going.
Put one crab in a bucket, it will climb out. Put two in, and they’ll keep on pulling each other back in.
